The students of E.A.T. are creating a recycled Igloo out of Milk Jugs. Initially we thought we were only going to need about 450 milk jugs but we were off but at least 100. Considering such, we need your Milk Jugs. Please check out the photos below which show where we are at so far and what we have left to go. Considering such, please donate your milk jugs to the Art or Drama room! As always, thanks for all of our support towards the Arts at Westfield Middle School.

To help celebrate Veteran’s Day, the students of E.A.T. got creative with their hands and feet, literally, and created a unique and beautiful Red, White and Blue American Flag to hang during our all school assembly on Monday November 11th 2013. Students and staff also dressed in Red, White and Blue that day to help thank all of the Veterans that came to our school to tell their stories.

The students in E.A.T., Exploring the Arts Together, created Sand-sational Seascapes. These scenes were made by tearing different tints and shades of Blue Construction paper and gluing them on top of one another to create an effect that looked like water rolling in on the tide. They then tore brown construction paper to make the beach portion of the scene and even glued on real sand to give it a cool effect.

The students in E.A.T., Exploring the Arts Together, created melted crayon art, similar to Artist Jessica Kerbawy, also know as J.K. Create! Students first choose their crayons and arranged them in the color order the wanted. They then hot glued them to a sheet of card stock. Students then took a heat gun and melted the crayons to create a dripping rainbow effect.
