6th grade students looked at the various monsters within Disney’s Pixar Movie ‘Monster’s Inc.’ Students then used recycled milk jugs, paint and a wide variety of materials to create unique creatures.

A special congratulations goes out to 7th grade artist Robert who will have his Cookie Monster Painting be shown during Big Screen Plaza Art 2012 Sequence #: 211 on Friday, March 2nd and Saturday March 3rd: 6:14pm EST.

What is Big Screen Plaza? Located in the heart of Manhattan in New York City, the Big Screen Plaza (www.bigscreenplaza.com) is a giant 30 x 16 ft. outdoor LED screen, which showcases artistic talent for visitors to view and appreciate. During the National Art Education Association annual convention on March 1-4, 2012, the Big Screen Plaza will be showcasing artwork from Artsonia/NAEA art teachers!
