7th grade students learned about  Bento (弁当), sometimes called obento (お弁当), which is the Japanese word for a meal served  in a box. Students then used felt to create their own bento box which needed to consists of rice, fish or meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables, with each portion in a seperate box area.
